Job description

Continued development of tesa’s position Modern Trade market in Southern part of East Europe (Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Czechia, Adriatic Area and Greece).

As Sales Manager you will be member of the Modern Trade team within our international set up. You will be responsible for development of our excellent adhesive solutions which improves the lives of our customers. You will enjoy the work in truly European organization where collaboration with regional functions & hubs is mandatory and important for our performance. Your work as manager is vital for you and your team. You will be responsible for finding new business opportunities, managing project pipeline, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ultimately delivering firm results to the organization.

Your job scope

  • Roll out and execute tesa strategy across selected Modern Trade market in East Europe
  • Manage, coach and support direct team
  • Coordinate sales development, support the sales team on new projects, set sales development targets and priorities
  • Buildup/expand the customer relationship with the aim of achieving the agreed sales and margin target figures
  • Identity new opportunities, manage projects and develop sales pipeline in the CRM system
  • Ensure the implementation of agreed pricing, services and assortment policy
  • Set and implement annual sales plan to meet business objectives
  • Deployment of new product launches with responsibility for the specification process / listings in the assigned market segments (DIY / Food)
  • Empower local Sales & Marketing Organization to achieve leading measures (strategic KPIs) and propose / take corrective actions if needed
  • Close cooperation with the departments of marketing, finance and logistics operations

Job requirements

  • High learning agility
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Modern Trade, preferably in DIY segment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in people’s management
  • Very good language and presentation skills in English
  • An open-minded and flexible way of thinking and acting
  • A self-driven, service-minded and ambitious way of being.
  • You are comfortable in a high-pace environment
  • A very structured way of working
