Job description

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to join our dynamic East European Modern Trade team. Purpose of this role is to steer execution of marketing activities in order to develop sales and brand awareness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and driving the implementation of marketing and category related offline activities in Poland with focus on the Modern Trade channels. Your main objective will be to increase awareness, market shares and purchase intent among our B2B and B2C target groups in Poland, specifically in DIY, FOOD & DRUG channel.


Key tasks & responsibilities

  • Define and align the yearly marketing plan according to the strategy ​
  • Plan, organize, monitor and steer all marketing activities for the responsible categories​ and customers
  • Take full responsibility of the marketing budget within the assigned segments ​
  • Create strong and attractive commercial packages including presentations, promotions, and argumentations to ensure successful launches in coordination with relevant business units
  • Develop specific sales and merchandising materials to achieve standardized execution at Point of Sales (POS) and planograms
  • Ensure in collaboration with Shopper & Customer team and external agencies the localization and adaptation of marketing contents ​
  • Join Sales Team during customer visits in order to present valuable material and information as well as to discover and understand the customer’s needs 
  • Steer pricing process (trade) in collaboration with Salesforce
  • Be an expert in the assigned market by gathering and analyzing market data on customers, end users, competition, and products

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in Marketing, preferably in the DIY or Craftsmen
  • Experience in market data analysis and project management both as a leader and a stakeholder
  • Very good and convincing communication and collaboration skills for working with international, cross-functional and external stakeholder as well as for effective relationship management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Polish
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Trade Marketing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
