To support our strong growth with automotive OEM/OES in Spain, we are recruiting a Key Account Manager (KAM) located Italy, to increase sales and manage profitability of Key Accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for the long-term management and will be final decision maker, based on the regional Business Unit strategy and the regional Marketing plans, develop accounts and lead the implementation. Together with the Sales Mgr and Regional Key Account Mgr (RKAM), you will also be responsible for building and leading the accounts and the annual budget targets to support the deployment of the Key Account plan, identifying new opportunities, managing & implementing projects and sales pipeline. In this position, you will interact with both the sales team and the Automotive Sales Manager based in Italy.

Main responsabilities:

• Analyze Key account development & evaluate profitability and drive the necessary (corrective) measures (Key Account plan)

• Build a robust tesa network (with RKAM, Mkg – R&D – Customer Solution Center – controlling functions) across complex customer buying centre

• Manage all tesa resources and competences to contribute to the success of the selected projects

• Manage complex projects by building a profound network within the customers across different locations and different functions

• Seek for big new projects and define a tactic to push and close the projects

• Is able to consider multiple dimensions to build a power offer: products, services, process integration

• Can manage product co-development project with all contractual documentation

• Define a mid term strategic plan for Key account customer

• Manage complex listing, price and contract negotiations within complex buying centre

• Ensure local implementation of regional Key Account activities, collaboration with RKAM.

• Able to work effectively in a matrix organisation

Job requirements

Successful candidates will have:

• Bachelor or Master level education

• More than 5 years of experience in similar sales role, preferably in a multinational organisation

• Fluent Italian, Excellent written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication skills and talented networker

• Advanced presentation Skills

• Advanced negotiation skills, clear ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders

• Strong customer orientation and passion about building long-term partnerships

• Ability to lead a virtual team

• Contract Management expertise

• Working autonomously and self-driven, while proactively seeking support when needed

• Easily adapting to change and ambiguity

We need your strong teamwork abilities, networking skills, your ability to prioritise and or-ganize your work, high interest in technical applications, we need you to be precise and synthetic in your customer information flow. Candidate should have excellent technical capabilities and presentation skills, he/she should be result oriented. We look for someone who is flexible and able to positively respond to change. You count on you to be a team player who communicates and works effectively at various levels of an organization.
